With her first nationwide tour just around the corner and her stunning debut, Radio 2 playlisted single ‘Save Me’, Bo Bruce releases second single ‘Alive’, June 17th on Virgin EMI Records.
A striking, emotion-soaked song about seizing the day and all that life has to offer, with its driving beat and light electronic patter, this new track fully encapsulates the force of Bo’s impassioned cry. It was co-written with Voice mentor Danny O’Donoghue and produced by Henry Binns of Zero 7.
It’s been a busy year thus far for Bo. As well as collaborating with Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody on new song ‘The Rage That’s In Us All’ for Star Trek Into Darkness, she finished her debut album ‘Before I Sleep’ – out April 29th – performed with Jools Holland, duetted with Suggs, shot two videos and played live on national TV. And it’s still only the beginning.
