Public Service Broadcastng To Release Debut Album and UK Tour

Public Service Broadcasting are pleased to announce that their debut album ‘Inform – Educate – Entertain’ will be released in Spring 2013, and will be accompanied by an extensive UK tour in May.

Through their uniquely spell-binding live AV Transmissions, audiences will witness the band weave samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material around live drums, guitar, banjo and electronics.

Public Service Broadcasting is the corduroy-clad brainchild of J. Willgoose, Esq. who, along with his faithful drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, teaches the lessons of the past through the music of the future – beaming our past back at us through vintage TV sets and state of the art modern video projection devices.

Taking a rare moment to speak with his own mouth and not with the various electronic gizmos at hand, J. Willgoose, Esq says, “PSB are extremely excited to confirm our most extensive run of transmissions to date. We look forward to informing, educating and – most importantly – entertaining audiences across the UK in support of our debut album. Lock up your corduroy – we’re coming for you.”

Once he got talking, there seemed to be no stopping him, speaking on PSB’s recent win at the Artrocker Awards (Best Electro Act 2012) “Thanks to everyone who voted! It was totally unexpected and a really nice way to cap what has already been a quite ridiculous year for us. Here’s hoping, with your continued support, 2013 can match it!”
