HANDGUNS call Harrisburg, PA their home but over the past three years the band have married themselves to the road. Doing everything from DIY runs in basements to to sold out gigs at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, the band has worked tirelessly to build what is now a solid and devoted family of fans. They will be hitting UK shores in May 2013 to support Senses Fail.
Vocalist Taylor Eby comments, “We are very excited to be coming to the UK finally especially with such an awesome band. We will be playing a solid mix of old and new songs. It’s going to be a fun one.”
‘Angst’ is the band’s debut full length and marks a huge step in their progression from a basement dwelling pop punk band to a polished rock outfit that balances both a sugary hook and a driving rhythm section. It’s obvious that pop punk is back and album’s like ‘Angst’ make it clear that it’s here to stay. The album is out now on Pure Noise Records.
