Free Download From Acres Of Lions

Canadian heartbreak rockers Acres Of Lions will unleash their first UK release on 26th November, 2012 and will be playing a clutch of live dates in November in support of the album ‘Collections’.

Acres Of Lions consist of Jeff Kalesnikoff (vocals, guitar), Tyson Yerex (keyboard, guitar), Dan Ball (bass) and Shane Deyotte (drums). They are based in Victoria, Canada, coyly describe themselves as ‘a pop-rock band’ and have cannily hooked up with not one, but two labels – Alcopop! and fierce panda – for this release. The Panda brings the beefy biscuits, Alcopop! bring the indiepowerpop panache.

Whatever your musical poison, rather generously Acres Of Lions have provided a handy entrance point to ‘Collections’. It’s called ‘Reaction’, its glowing pop stomp encapsulates the Lions’ enthusiasm and effervescence and it has a rather excellent video lurking over at link right now.
