Having played her first UK show at the Jazz Cafe in August 2011, Caro has gone on to headline at Shepherds Bush Empire, the Roundhouse and Hampton Court Palace and wowed the Big Top crowd at the Isle Of Wight Festival. “It feels like only yesterday that I went on stage for the first time in the UK . The Jazz Cafe in Camden was packed and the crowd was so supportive! Every time I’ve come back to the UK the venues were bigger, and every night was special in his own way. I’m looking back with a smile!”

Reviewing the show at The Roundhouse The Times declared the atmosphere to be “part carnival, part high-school prom”, praising her “magnificent vocals” and concluding that, “When she finally bounced off stage, punching the air, it felt like a whirlwind had hit North London.”

A graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory, Caro’s debut album’ Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ became the sleeper hit of 2011 throughout Europe where it sold more than 1.3 million copies. In Britain , where it was supported by Radio 2, Smooth FM and the likes of Jools Holland, it was certified platinum shifting more than 300,000 albums.

Currently working on her follow up album, scheduled for release in early 2013, Caro is looking forward to this short run of dates “Britain has always been so extremely supportive! Coming back again next year is something I’m so looking forward to. It feels heart-warming and super exciting at the same time to play again for the UK crowd, especially in these legendary venues. The Royal Albert Hall is a dream come true, I still have to pinch myself when I come to think about it.”
