Comprising Robert Alfons and Maya Postepski, the Toronto-based duo Trust create a dense, black, vaporous sound; a beautiful, glittering gloom enveloping their dark tales of lust, wax and erotomania, like a pop hit factory buried deep in the mud.
Formed in 2009, Trust released their first singles, “Candy Walls” and “Bulbform”, last year, instantly creating a buzz with their unsettling yet deeply compelling sound. A signing with Arts & Crafts followed shortly after, for the release of their forthcoming full-length TRST, as did live supports with the likes of DFA 1979, Crystal Castles, Austra, Balam Acab, Glass Candy and more, capped off with a well-received string of shows at SXSW in March. Now, the band hit the UK for their first ever live shows, including two gigs at The Great Escape in Brighton in May, and a London show at the Lexington next week. Make sure you don’t miss these rare opportunities to see Trust in full flight.
UK dates:

May 10 – Psychosocial Ground Floor @ The Great Escape, Brighton
