Video premiere: Provincials – Ascending Summer

We’re very pleased to be premiering the new video from Provincials today for their latest single ‘Ascending Summer’.

Based between the provinces of Hampshire and Dorset, they’re fronted by the frankly-lovely-in-every-respect Polly Perry of Polly & The Billets Doux.

A subtle and alluring mix of jazz, folk and classical with a twist of progressive influences, the new outfit is a fantastic vehicle for Polly’s vocal talents that fill a more choral role in this ensemble, smoothly joining the dots amongst the disconnected and flitting musical composition.

The single is the title track from their new EP of the same name, out now via Itchen Recordings.
