Leeds based musician and comedian Micky P. Kerr releases his new single ‘Big Bad City’ on 22nd July via Modern English Records and you can check out the excellent new video below.
A tale of alienation and isolation, the track is a Northerner’s take on the sprawling metropolis that is our capital city. All 70’s riffs and comedic observation, the song is accompanied by brand new video in which a Micky P Kerr alter ego wanders around the city, confused and on edge.
Kerr explains of the inspiration behind the track, “Big Bad City is social observation about our capital, social observation from a northern perspective. It’s also an attempt to emphasize the consequences of individualism and the demise of communities within large cities.”
