An Escape Plan – Living Together

Somewhere in Northampton over Christmas, members of Tanaou, Maps and Red Kite were finishing off their debut record as new act, An Escape Plan. No sooner had news of this got out than we were already seeing their new video, a cover of The Bee Gee’s ‘Living Together’, on our televisions. It’s been chosen by IKEA to front their 2013 ad campaign, ploughing the subtle, charming track into homes all over Britain from this week. Anybody who caught their last advert featuring Man Like Me will get the idea; a kind of faux advert cum music video, only this time round it’s genuinely exciting. IKEA have picked a totally new band that the nation hasn’t heard of, and over the coming weeks no doubt they’ll discover them via the advert. This is a great thing. Kudos IKEA.
