Spinal Tap Steal EELS 1998 BRIT Award

EELS have shared a previously unseen clip from the 1998 BRIT Awards.

EELS were awarded the “Best International Newcomer” award but were unable to attend the ceremony. When asked who he would like to present the award to them at a pre-taped presentation, EELS leader Mark Oliver Everett aka E replied, “Spinal Tap.” But were “The Tap” confused as to who was presenting the award and who was winning the award?

EELS’ new album Wonderful, Glorious is released February 4th and they tour in the UK in March.
