VIDEO: IKO – Dazed and Confused

IKO have released an official video to song ‘Dazed And Confused’.

The song has been chosen to feature in Greys Anatomy that airs in the USA this weekend, and in the UK December 12th. Building on their success with the Twilight soundtrack, two-piece Iko win a second high profile sync. The title track from their forthcoming EP Dazed And Confused has been selected to feature for 2 minutes on an episode of the series, famed for it’s choice in music.

Early in October the two-piece were announced as one of the 14 acts to appear on the greatly coveted and final soundtrack for the biggest film of the year Twilight Breaking Dawn Pt 2 – also due out this week.

Reflecting on the success Kieran Marc Scragg (vocals/guitar) says:

“Both Neil and I have been reasonably obsessed with movies all our lives and so to have an opportunity to play a part in one is the biggest deal ever for us. I remember hearing Elliott Smith on the Good Will Hunting soundtrack and just thinking – imagine writing a song that you hear in the dark of the theatre. That would be a lifetime ambition kinda thing. We’re so excited to be able to say, ambition (about to be) fulfilled”.

Iko are currently in the studio working on their eagerly anticipated album, which features Counting Crows founding member Steve Bowman on drums. The first EP, Dazed & Confused, was released this week, on November 12th.
