Jessie J releases her new single “Who's Laughing Now” on August 22nd, the follow up to her previous single “Nobody's Perfect” that saw her secure her third consecutive top ten UK hit.
“Who's Laughing Now” tells her personal story of childhood memories, playground bullying and not fitting in – but in typical Jessie J fashion. In her own words:
“Music is about making a change but also being able to laugh at yourself. I think this song tells a story a lot of people have been through and I hope it will raise awareness to the serious issue of bullying.”
With one sell-out UK tour already under her belt, she's set to embark on another, more ambitious run of dates later in the year. Flying the British flag, she's sitting comfortably in the top ten in over thirty countries worldwide, racking up sixteen number ones globally. Her platinum-selling album hasn't left the UK top ten since its release over fifteen weeks ago.
Despite her breaking her foot, Jessie J is determined to power on through the summer with performances at V Festival, Oxegen and T in the Park – to name a few. Her UK headline tour kicks off on October 17th in Birmingham.
