Tunnels Unveil Video For New Track “Crystal Arms”

For quite a while now, Tunnels has been the moniker through which Nicholas Bindeman outs his solo material. His new album The Blackout is released on August 15th through Thrill Jockey, and is all the dark synth pop you could ever wish for.

Ian Pearson of Altered Zones comments on the forthcoming album: “Nick Bindeman leads multiple lives in Eternal Tapestry and Jackie-O Motherfucker, and also with his solo moniker, Tunnels. His latest, The Blackout, is an evolution from previous works, exploring the trajectories of minimal synth dance music. In the video above, album opener “Crystal Arms” is illustrated as if by a haunted VCR, recalling the faces of its past in shades too murky to be fully recognizable.”
