Teezy – Spoilt Brat

“Spoilt Brat” is a track that truly puts Teezy in a lane of his own separating this 21-year-old London rapper from the safety constraints of ordinary urban music adding a flavour of pop and pomp.

Teezy is an artist who has received high accolades in the industry thus far. His unique musical ability, skilled performances and successful single releases in 2010 have certainly created a buzz in the music industry, making him the next big thing to look out for!

“Come In” was Teezy’s first single, released in 2010 reaching Number 7 on the MTV base charts, making Teezy one of the first unsigned artists in the UK to achieve this. As well as being play-listed up and down the country on many regional radio stations including Radio 1xtra, Choice FM, “Come In” premiered on Channel 4s Freshly Squeezed. Following on from this success, Teezy released his second single for 2010, which was “Hello Hi”. “Hello Hi” was play-listed on Flava, MTV Base, Virgin On Demand, Soundnet, Kaleidovision and Visualis, also receiving radio play across BBC1 Xtra, Choice FM etc. Both singles winning the hearts of thousands of adoring fans all over the United Kingdom and abroad.

“Spoil Brat”, produced by Ayo, a highly respected producer in the UK who has worked with some of the big names in the industry, such as Ironik, is a track that will keep the industry and fans firmly on Teezy’s radar. With his excellent lyrical arrangement and word-flow, Teezy is a young rapper, who will turn many heads in 2011.

At the tender age of 9 years old, while attending the prestigious Sylvia Young’s Drama School, Teezy was chosen by Roc Nation’s very own founder and global superstar, Jay Z, out of 500 young hopefuls to star as his ‘Mini Me’ on the ‘Hard Knock Life’ tour due to his outstanding performance skills and his phenomenal stage presence. During this successful promotional tour of the UK, Teezy and Jay Z appeared together on many music television shows. Over the years Teezy has been blessed to keep this relationship intact, which has led to Teezy hanging out with the likes of Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland.

Teezy, first made tidal waves within the music industry in 2008 with his independently released smash hit debut single, “Take Your Shoes Off”. Produced by one of the most sought after producers, in the UK, Harmony (aka ‘H’ Money), reaching Number 8 in the official R’n’B charts.
