BBC’s Sound of 2011 nominees, Nero, have released the music video for their new single, ‘Me and You’ out on MTA next year.
Nero the remixers du jour and now one of the biggest names in both dubstep and drum and bass are set to release ‘Me & You’ on January 3rd the follow up to global MTA smash ‘Innocence’.
Nero's debut dubstep release, ‘This Way’, became one of the first commercial successful dubstep tunes back in 2008. Their remix of the Streets' tune 'Blinded by the Lights' was a massive radio hit and gained the support of Chase and Status, Skream, Tiesto and Diplo. More recently Nero have remixed La Roux, N*E*R*D and Deadmau5 to devastating effect and won the 2010 Beatport awards for Best Dubstep Act and Best Dubstep Track for ‘Act Like You Know’.
‘Me and You’ is the second single from the forthcoming Nero Album, out on Chase and Status’ label MTA due for release early 2011. BBC Radio 1 presenter Zane Lowe has already crowned ‘Me and You’ his ‘Hottest Record in the World’ and Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw named it their ‘Weekend Anthem’.
‘Me and You’ is enjoying support from DJs like Andy C, Grooverider and Friction, as well as further Radio 1 airplay from, Jo Whiley, Pete Tong, Rob Da Bank, Steve Lamacq and Fabio & Grooverider, to name just a few.
Along with numerous UK appearances, Nero prepare for a huge US and Australian tour.
