This Brighton based band are a band filled with all the ingredients of a solid rock-folk group that we seem to see more and more often thanks to it’s genre’s rise in popularity possibly due to the success of Mumford & Sons. But what makes these guys different, is their witty and intelligent lyrics which I first noticed when listening to their new single ‘Capital of Iceland’.
The song itself showcases the influences of rock, country and folk that the band have come to love. The song will take you on a journey of many of feelings and emotions, some will feel the anger behind the vocals, others will happily sing along in pure delight, the song itself gives off an array of reactions. This is largely down to the combination of witty and truthful lyrics jammed in with some fast playing ‘folky’ riffs that will get people jumping.
The group themselves have had their fair share of festival performances done and with one or two more still on the way and are more than eager to get the fans hypnotised into the frenzy with their witty lyrics, folky anthems and more.
