The new single, from UK’s own band Feeder, is a return to the original rock roots which brought us the likes of ‘Buck Rogers’ and ‘Tangerine’.
Taken from their seventh studio album of the same name ‘Renegades’ is Feeder at their best.
With an epic atmospheric beginning leading onto a stadium worthy chorus the song altogether exudes high energy and strength. Throughout you can hear similarities to Green Day and The Clash, both of which are bands that have the mentality of producing in your face impressive noise; and this is exactly what Feeder have done.
They have taken the direction that is most comfortable for them, the rockier sound is, after all, what has kept them alive and current for the past 13 years.
‘Renegades’ is certainly one for the old school Feeder fans, there is clear confidence and fire with this release which, I am sure, will reunite Feeder with the commercial heights they deserve.
