Twining guitars and psychedelic vocals meet like strangers in a secluded corner of a sleazy night club, as Richard Ashcroft speaks of personal resurrection with throaty eloquence.

He espouses mystical, yet down-to-earth lyrics, cushioned by sparse, booming percussion that gives body to proceedings.

Ashcroft’s life-foraging tendencies still lurk in the back-ground like a sinister shadow. ‘Born Again’, is a prelude to a potentially delving and well threaded debut album, from his new project that don’t deny his past, but still shows forward thinking tendencies.
