Fresh Chops: Black Yaya

In anticipation of the release of his forthcoming debut album, Black Yaya has shared new track ‘Vigilante’ from the record.

The LP ‘Black Yaya’ is set for release on March 2nd via City Slang & the singer/songwriter has also just announced a string of UK tour dates for this April, including a London show at The Lexington on April 9th.

Also known as a member of Herman Dune, Black Yaya is the solo moniker of David Ivar. New track ‘Vigilante’ has more than a touch of the Spaghetti Western about it and swaggers with a Wild West harmonica refrain and a vocal slathered in slapback – more please!
