Dan Deacon‘s live shows are still some of the best we’ve ever experienced so it’s always a pleasure when we get some new music from the talented young producer.
In the case of ‘Learning To Relax’ it also comes with a nauseating, trippy-as-fuck video that might make you bring up your lunch, but some things are worth suffering for.
The track is taken from his forthcoming album, Gliss Riffer, out February 23rd on Domino. The animation for the video was created by Alan Resnick, who comments:
“Two parallel columns of cubes are colored with complementary gradients. The cubes oscillate at faster and faster rates, which create the optical illusion of color mixing and elaborate visual patterns.”
Dan has also announced that he’ll be playing a special Boiler Room show in London next Tuesday, February 17th.
Dan Deacon tour dates:
16-02 London, UK – Islington Assembly Hall
