Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be any more festival news, or new festivals, or bands announced for festivals, you were wrong – so, wrong. In fact, as this little round up will show, there are bloody loads and they are relentlessly adding huge new bands to their line ups. Best get cracking then…

Slam Dunk Festival 2015

The UK’s biggest celebration of all things pop punk is back with a BANG as they announce the first bands for the 2015 festival. The festival takes place over the May bank holiday weekend at 3 sites in Leeds, Hatfield and Wolverhampton. Having announced the massive increase in capacity at all events late last year, 2015 sees the Leeds event return to its original home, Millennium Square. Headlining will be the mighty YOU ME AT SIX, joined by TAKING BACK SUNDAY, LOWER THAN ATLANTIS, THE WONDER YEARS, NECK DEEP, BAYSIDE, KNUCKLE PUCK, FIREWORKS, REEL BIG FISH, MILLENCOLIN, GOLDFINGER, CROSSFAITH, GALLOWS, H2O, COMEBACK KID and BANE.

Saturday May 23rd – Leeds – City Centre – Millennium Square.
Sunday May 24th – Hatfield – The Forum, University of Herts
Bank Holiday Monday May 25th – Wolverhampton – Wulfrun Hall

Love Saves The Day Festival 2015

Love Saves The Day are delighted to announce their line-up for 2015. Taking center stage as Saturday’s headliner will be the soulful South Londoner and ‘Wildest Moments’ singer-songwriter Jessie Ware. Tale Of Us, the Berlin-based musical duo who are currently re-writing the rule-book for deeply moving, emotional electronic music will also be present, whilst Fabric resident Craig Richards takes over the Futureboogie stage, alongside Brighton deep house producer Leon Vynehall, the exceptional German duo Âme, and Maxxi Soundsytem, known for his classic house vocals and catchy grooves. Love Saves The Day takes place on 23rd and 24th Mayin Bristol’s Eastville Park.

Boardmasters 2015

Since last summer, Boardmasters’ family of fans have been crying out for this bands return and Cornwall’s own surf and music festival listened. Back by popular demand, BRIT Award winners, Bastille will be making an epic return to Boardmasters 2015. After missing out on their headline performance last year because of the effects of ex-hurricane Bertha, festival favourites Bastille plan on taking care of unfinished business, playing an unforgettable headline performance as the sun sets over arguably the most beautiful festival setting of the summer. Boardmasters 2015 will take place along the stunning Cornish coastline from Wednesday 5 August to Sunday 9 August.

Boomtown Fair 2015

BoomTown Fair has released the first wave of headliners for Chapter Seven of the massively genre-busting festival. Taking place over 13th – 16th August in the Matterley Estate near Winchester BoomTown once again will house heavyweight names from reggae to ska punk; psy-trance to world music, putting underground genres in the spotlight at one of the most creatively and musically ambitious festivals on the circuit. With 22 Main Stages situated over eight very individual districts the music programming is as diverse as it would be within any large city, providing something for all tastes, ages and cultures! Names announced include Flogging Molly / Gogol Bordello / Matisyahu /
Alborosie & Shengen Clan / John Butler Trio / Amadou & Mariam / Streelight Manifesto / Squarepusher / Caravan Palace / Black Uhuru / Infected Mushroom (old school live) plus loads more.

Bloodstock 2015

Threshold Festival 2015

Those lovely folks at Antipop Records will be presenting a unique hybrid line-up on Friday 27th March, the opening night of Threshold Festival in Liverpool. The Garage Stage at District features a heady mix of upbeat punk rock – a total noise explosion. SUPER FAST GIRLIE SHOW, BOLSHY, JAZZHANDS and BROKEN 3 WAYS have all been announced.

Green Man Festival 2015

The first round of artists have been unveiled for what promises to be a remarkable Green Man 2015. Headlining on the Sunday night will be the spellbinding St Vincent and joining her as Friday night headliners are Hot Chip. The thirteenth edition of the festival runs from 20th – 23rd August in the glorious Brecon Beacons, Wales. Also announced are Goat, Calexico, Father John Misty, Mew, The Staves, Charles Bradley, The Sun Ra Arkestra, Hookworms, Courtney Barnett (UK festival exclusive), Son Lux, Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve, The Wave Pictures, Owen Pallett, Viet Cong, Waxahatchee and many more.

Reading & Leeds Festival 2015

Reading & Leeds Festival have revealed MUMFORD & SONS as their main stage headliners. The folk pop outfit will be joined by ROYAL BLOOD, BASTILLE, DEADMAU5, REBEL SOUND FEAT.
