Our track of the day today comes in the form of this dark, futuristic hip hop offering from film makers and music collective 808INK.

You can check out the video for the claustrophobic treacle-thick hip hop of ‘Vacuum Love’ below, which embodies their experimental and glitchy aesthetic.

“It’s a visual representation of a dreamscape. Within the dreamscape there are three different layers: the luxury, the meadow and the madness“, explains the group.

Grim, plodding hip hop beats are laid over ghostly instrumentals creating an oppressive backdrop for the steady flow of both rappers – this is intellectually stimulating and artistic stuff from a promising bunch of UK newcomers.
