Festival Preview: Hevy Fest 2014

With 2 weeks to go until Port Lympne Animal Park open their doors to the more alternative public, Hevy Fest have announced an acoustic stage and their all-night entertainment on offer.

If the tropical storm holds off and doesn’t wash out the world, the hangovers and monkeys will mix with the cider and music where the likes of Finch, The Vandals, Silverstien and Reel Big Fish will provide your aural pleasure.

This year gates open on Thursday afternoon, a day earlier than normal, and to keep you occupied the organisers at Hevy have collated some great acoustic acts to play that evening, including Rob Lynch, Oxygen Thief, The Lion and the Wolf and Marc Halls.

As if that wasn’t enough for you, UPRAWR have teamed up with Hevy to bring you 2 nights of mayhem, playing the best in hardcore, pop-punk and metal.
