Fresh Chops: Octave Minds

Everyone’s favourite piano maestro Chilly Gonzales teams up with Boys Noize on their new collaborative project Octave Minds, who announce today the release of an album in September.

The duo produced Gonzales’ 2010 album ‘Ivory Tower’ and now you can stream and grab a free download of the first track from their new project called ‘In Silence’ below.

It’s a mellow offering that twinkles with Chilly’s trademark melancholic ivories, supported by sluggish, fat synths that punctuate the staccato hi-hat beats of Boys Noize.
