Fresh Chops: Leaders Of Men

Fresh Chops today from Irish quintet Leaders Of Men, who have just unveiled the soaring, epic rock anthem ‘For Want Of A Better Word’ which you can stream below.

The track is taken from the band’s Alexander House EP, out August 18th through Drawing Board Recordings and we’re hoping that the release contains more of the same, as their euphoric rock marries all the best of Sargent House bands with Gaslight Anthem and Twin Atlantic.

Front man Brian Ashe has a corker of a voice that, whilst scratchy and pained, is definitely capable of opening up and belting it out. There’s a hint of early U2 about them, which they probably won’t thank us for saying, but they’ve not had a bad career folks.

The Dublin lads’ first EP The Debut Collection led to a deal with Big Life Music (UK) and Leaders Of Men will also be playing the Festival Republic Stage at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
