Fresh Chops: Attaque

We’ve had an influx of great new electronica recently and the pattern continues with our Fresh Chops artist of the day today, Attaque.

After many years of attempting to crack the techno scene he started turning up on the playlists of the biggest DJs and being whisked to all corners of the globe to play to packed-out crowds but, luckily for us, this wasn’t what Dominic Gentry had in mind for the rest of his career.

The Colchester based electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist chose this moment to hang up the headphones and instead make a beautiful electronica record bereft of his usual club track fare.

His debut record ON LY OU is out 27th October and could easily give the likes of Bonobo and Moderat a serious run for their money, blending lush bleeps and beats with a love of shoegaze and a touch of ambient.
