Watch The Both Performing Live on Conan

We’ve always been big Aimee Mann fans here at Glasswerk and her new duo with punk songwriter Ted Leo, The Both, put in a stellar perfomance on Conan last night in the US.

The band have just announced an extensive US tour in support of the release of their self-titled debut, out now on SuperEgo Records. It’s an artfully crafted stroll through Mann’s lo-fi indie songwriting meeting Leo’s punk rock touch at an immensely enjoyable crossroads, already gaining swathes of praise from the press.

“We were just like ‘Fuck it, let’s push and make it happen,’” notes Mann. “You really just have to go, ‘You know what, I have to trust that this other person’s instincts are good.’”
