Fast-growing Illinois punks Real Friends have announced that they will be releasing their debut album titled Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing on July 22nd 2014 via Fearless Records.
“I think our band has been very lyrically connected with fans,” bass player Kyle Fasel says of their rapid success “I don’t think musically we’re anything special or groundbreaking. But I feel like being straight-up honest with lyrics and just saying what you want to say instead of sounding like an ‘artist’ is what people connect to.”
Real Friends make it over to the UK this May for an almost entirely sold out tour and will be appearing at Slam Dunk Festival upon their return from mainland Europe.
