Inventive art-pop band Stats are ready to release their debut EP ‘Where Is The Money’ on 28th April via StatsCo/Domino Publishing.

The ‘Where Is The Money EP’ sees Stats develop their minimal pop music, inspired by innovators like Talking Heads and Laurie Anderson. Ed Seed’s compelling lyrics deal with happiness, information, money and identity. This is a refreshing, modern band.

The EP tracklisting is as follows:
1. Where Is The Money
2. You Have To Say So
3. D’you Wanna Eat
4. 2 Minds

The London six-piece released their first single ‘2 Minds’ online last December to great critical acclaim – subsequently releasing the song on limited white vinyl, backed with a remix by Emperor Yes. XFM’s John Kennedy was an immediate enthusiast, and still features the single on his X-posure show. 2 Minds also won support from Radio 1’s Jen Long, Amazing Radio’s Simon Raymonde and great reviews praising its infectious, geometric sounds.

Want more Stats? This month, the band are giving away the song ‘D’you Wanna Eat’ for free: John Kennedy premiered the track the night before Stats’ X-Posure show at Camden’s Barfly. You can catch the band perform their thrilling live show at several upcoming London gigs, and with more live dates to be announced very soon; this year is looking very fruitful for this exciting new band.
