US indie rock megastars The Killers have now confirmed that they will be joined at their Wembley Stadium gig by Manchester legends James and New Jersey boys The Gaslight Anthem for the special show on June 22nd.
James are currently mid-way through their own sold out UK tour, “The Gathering Sound” to mark their 30 year career. Frontman Tim Booth, says of the Wembley show,
“We are honoured and excited to be opening for a band we personally love and who seem to have held the bauble “best live band in the world” for so long, I fear they have melted it down.”
In a little under ten weeks, the Las Vegas band will join a very select handful of artists to have made the leap to headlining the stadium, including The Rolling Stones, U2, Michael Jackson, David Bowie and, more recently, Muse and Coldplay.
