Recorded in one long, disgraceful, weekend at the legendary Cabin studios in Coventry, You’ve Been Limozined is already being called a classic Garage Rock album on radio stations in London and New York and likened to a cross between the Cramps, the Stooges and the Ramones.
Featuring the awesome single Tokyo 1970, You’ve Been Limozined is ten twisted tales of Rock ‘n’ Roll excess set to a jack hammer beat; medical trials, back street saunas, Japanese b-movies, code brown tube train disasters and alien assassination all get the Limozine treatment in just over twenty four minutes of Pure, Primal, Rock ‘n’ Roll.
The phrase You’ve Been Limozined is street slang for getting wasted, for getting hammered, for throwing up on your chips and on somebody’s elses shoes. ‘I Went out friday night, now it’s monday bout two, you gotta love the dog that bites you’ sings front man Limo Dean. On day two of recording the album the bands guitarist, Johnny Zero, was shot by a UFO on his way back from a late night off licence, inspiring the bands current single, Johnny Got shot by a UFO. It’s a true story and the band are sticking to it, saying it has it has nothing to do with a stolen bottle of Absinthe, a month’s supply of prescription tranquilisers and a homemade stomach pump.
