Har Mar Superstar Announces New Album & Premieres Track

Unconventional and somewhat unlikely US pop star Har Mar Superstar has, in the past, been the butt of many a joke. He probably did the most damage to his burgeoning music career by appearing at every opportunity in a g-string or some form of spandex – something we would not advise for the larger gent, here at Glasswerk.

A nice surprise then, to hear this new material from the singer positively dripping in Motown standard horns and classic harmonies – an undeniably classier affair, as matched by the new press shot we were supplied with. Dare we say it, there might even be a hint of Van Morrisson struggling to break through. Well, we never thought we would be saying that about Har Mar. The new album will be released on 6th May by close friend Julian Casablancas of The Strokes on his own label.
