Kat Healy is an Edinburgh based singer songwriter who has just released her debut album “Be Still Gentle Kind”. Kat has been busy supporting some amazing artists while recording her album.
Since her first performances in 2005, Kat’s reputation as a notable singer/ songwriter in the music scene has proven she is a long-lasting international music figure, and a musical talent to treasure. Kat’s presence abroad has been well established with performances on prestigious stages such as the Berlin Pop Komm Festival and the Sydney Songwriters Live concert.
In 2010/11 Kat’s musicianship, creativity and dynamic voice caught the attentions of well known Scottish producer Graeme Steel who invited Kat and her band to begin recording with him at The Depot Studios in Edinburgh. The debut single ‘Broken Bones’ (April 2011) garnered strong local support from the press
Kat has supported headliners like Amy MacDonald, Passenger, Sharon Corr, Silver Seas, Trace Bundy, Steve Poltz (Rugburns), Eleanor McEvoy, 1930’s, Rae Morris, Kate Walsh plus more… and Kat is supporting Colin Hay, Rue Royale & Gerard & the Watchmen this year and more shows are being added.
Forthcoming live shows
An album tour has now has been planned for March/April 2013 in the UK, Europe and Australia at the end of the year. The following shows have been announced so far:

February 3rd @ Glasgow School of Art, 7.30pm (w/Rue Royale)
February 27th @ The Twa Tams, Perth 7.30pm
May 3rd @ The Caves, Edinburgh 7.30pm (supporting Colin Hay)
