Blindfolds are a young Glasgow rock band with a hard blues edge. After only a year together they regularly sell out venues around the city and have a large following who love their incendiary live shows.
John O’Neill (vocals), Conor Jack Goldie (guitar), Stuart Ivens (bass) and Joshua Campbell (drums) have talent and rock attitude in abundance. 2013 will be a big year for these boys.
Just in case anyone doesn’t know you, how would you describe yourselves and your music?
We wear a lot of black, we move, we groove.
Have you released any albums or singles so far?
We released our EP ‘Voodoo’ on November 10th.
What’s been the highlight of your career to date?
Our EP launch, singing through powercuts.
Who are your main musical influences?
The White Stripes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club & The Cramps.
What lessons about the music business have you had to learn so far?
You’ve got to work harder than everyone around you. There’s good guys and bad guys.
