The Guardian To Live Stream Villagers Performance On Sunday

Villagers’ headlining performance at this weekend’s Other Voices will be streamed live via link this Sunday 2nd December at 7pm.

Other Voices takes place annually in St James’ church in the village of Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. For the past 10 years, the concerts, featuring the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Richard Hawley, The National, Spiritualized, the Wainwrights and the late Amy Winehouse, have been played before a live audience of just 85 people. This year’s event is hosted by Irish actor Aidan Gillen.

Villager’s new album, {Awayland}, is the follow up to the Mercury-nominated and Ivor Novello Award winning debut, Becoming a Jackal and will be released on January 14th. The album is available to pre-order now.

Villagers have recently completed a UK and European tour as special guests to Grizzly Bear, as well as a handful of headline dates in London and in Ireland.
