As a way of ingratiating themselves with the kids of the United Kingdom prior to their live dates in November and their impending album release, Acres Of Lions have put up five tracks which are free to download for a limited time only from link

Canadian heartbreak rockers Acres Of Lions will unleash their first UK release on 26th November, 2012 and will be playing a clutch of live dates in November in support of the album ‘Collections’. Acres Of Lions consist of Jeff Kalesnikoff (vocals, guitar), Tyson Yerex (keyboard, guitar), Dan Ball (bass) and Shane Deyotte (drums). They are based in Victoria, Canada, coyly describe themselves as ‘a pop-rock band’ and have cannily hooked up with not one, but two labels – Alcopop! and fierce panda – for this release. The Panda brings the beefy biscuits, Alcopop! bring the indiepowerpop panache.
