With their headline UK tour on the horizon and this weeks 6Music Rebel Playlist win under their belts, This Many Boyfriends are warming up and preparing to unleash their debut album full of infectious indie-pop ditties and odes to their musical libraries.
On September 20th, The Leeds group will be offering Londoners a chance to hear tracks from their album as theyll be playing a FREE show at The Old Blue Last. A full list of tour dates can be seen below.
This Many Boyfriends self-titled debut is released on October 8th through Angular Recording Corporation, and it will be preceded by the Ryan Jarman-produced single Number One on October 1st.
Recorded and mixed at Edwyn Collins West Heath Studios in London across three intensive weekends, this album is This Many Boyfriends love letter to their record collections, a tribute to the catchiest and most vibrant moments they could find amongst their most treasured post-punk, C86 and Motown 45s.
