Wave Machines Announce New Single & UK Live Dates

With a short run of UK live dates and a brand new 10” single, Liverpool’s most underrated contenders Wave Machines prepare to deliver the first taster of the new album this October.

A tightly wound Prince-esque work out, lead signer Tim Bruzon describes Ill Fit as “the fuzzy moment right before you make a decision to do something right or wrong, justifiable or unjustifiable… your last moment at the point of return.”

Produced by Lexxx (Arcade Fire, Bjork, Goldfrapp), at recording sessions split between London and the band’s base at St Brides Church in Liverpool, Ill Fit is released on download and 10” blue vinyl on 22nd October on Neapolitan / PIAS.

3 years on from their debut album, Wave Machines have not been standing still. While they may have taken a step back from the live scene in recent months, tracks have been permeating compilations, TV and film soundtracks around the world. Including appearances on the ‘Annie Mac presents’ series, a global ad campaign for VW, and soundtracks for TV series’ such as Skins and Entourage.
