With influences ranging from Bob Dylan to the Fleet Foxes, Coventry based folk band The Fallows have crafted an indulgent slice of summery folk pop cake.
The record, which blends the essence of Celtic folk, rock and pop takes you in to another world of summer nights and parties in woodland glades, a midsummer night’s dream and hazy days. The gravelly quality of singer Ross Darby wraps itself around lyrics of life, love and folk traditions set to a background of impressive instrumentalism.
With an exciting summer ahead the four piece, (Darby, joined by Pete Rutherford, Sam Stoakes and Neal Pointon) are ready for the next step.
