Dizzee Rascal Re-records England Football Song

Dizzee Rascal has re-recorded his unofficial 2010 World Cup anthem 'Shout' to celebrate England reaching the quarter finals for Euro 2012.

The collaboration, masterminded by Simon Cowell and originally a No.1 hit in 2010, is a re-working of the 80's Tears for Fears classic 'Shout', led with raps by Dizzee alongside vocals from James Corden and England fans.

The 2012 version features two new verses celebrating Euro 2012 with lyrics such as 'Come on England, here we go again, but this time we're gonna stick it out to the end.”, “A new manager and fresh faces, top of the leaderboard, you're really going places” and “2012 the year we show the world what we got.”

Dizzee says: “Last time we raised over 85k for Great Ormond Street, so let's top that! This is a chance to get behind your country and help those who need it most. Shout out to Simon Cowell for the re-call. Big shout out to the England squad. We're all excited to see you win. Good luck!”

Dizzee and James are donating all of their royalties from the sales of the track to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

'Shout' is released via download this Saturday June 23rd.
