New Eik Album Receives Mixmag Praise

Previously featured Glasswerk alumni Eik are Per Kåre Limmesand (keyboards and effects) and Kristoffer Carlsen (drums). Both live and on their album, the duo are joined by guest vocalists who deliver their melodic and catchy songs, inspired by artists such as Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, Groove Armada, Jamie Woon, Jean Michel Jarre and William Orbit.

Mixmag made the release their album of the month this month, saying “This varied eight-track album is an upbeat blend of European electronic ditties, sing along electro-pop and blossoming ambient pieces.”

‘Undetected’ was produced by the Norwegian electronica guru Knut Sævik, who has reached international acclaim with his own electronica project ‘Mungolian Jet Set’. Sævik has also worked with renowned artists such as Lindstrøm, Mari Boine and Nils Petter Molvær.
