Britain's hottest new girl band Vanquish, are heading back to school – and assemblies will never be the same again! The four gorgeous girls and their dancefloor-filling power pop have already been tipped by the pop press and Bee, Holly, Lizzy and Rianna have now been picked by Westlife to support them on the Irish group’s huge farewell arena tour.
Starting on April 17th the girls are now travelling the length and breadth of the UK and their fresh, vibrant and uber-cool power pop sound is guaranteed to get the pupils (and their teachers!) dancing from the first beat to the last breath.
Vanquish will be performing songs from their debut album including their first single ‘The Harder You Love’ which will be released on May 20th. Written by Ivor Novello Award winner Jorgen Elofsson – who has also created songs for Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Westlife, Will Young and Leona Lewis, and is responsible for 8 UK number 1 records – it’s a fantastic track destined to fill the musical void left by Girls Aloud. The girls have also worked with Ivor Novello award winner Rob Davis (Kylie, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and master tunesmith Wayne Hector (30 number 1 hits, including 7 for Westlife.
Bee, Holly, Lizzy and Rianna aren’t strangers to performing live having already performed with Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model Live!, at the British Grand Prix and played to 15,000 people in Sheffield alongside Tinchy Stryder and Matt Cardle.
