Casiokids Release Kaskaden

Having released their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Aabenbaringen Over Aaskammen’ in January, Casiokids next single ‘Kaskaden’ is out this coming Monday April 2nd through Moshi Moshi Records. Along with the single the band have announced a string of live shows & also today unveiled a new video to accompany the track.

Already a live favourite,‘Kaskaden’ is four minutes of bubbling synths and the dynamic percussion which Casiokids have become known for. Produced & directed by Finnish-Colombian-Norwegian collective Blank Blank & choreographed by Dutch contemporary dancer Marjolein Vogels, Casiokids present a film-intro style dance piece to accompany ‘Kaskaden’. Inspired by old Kung Fu film intros, 80s hollywood productions and local Norwegian films they ended up with the Concept 'Utfall!' which loosely translated means attack, outcome, result.

Hailing from the celebrated music scene in Bergen, Norway – Casiokids have spent the last 12 months playing shows across North America, Europe, Mexico, Japan and Russia including being hand-picked by fellow Norwegians a-ha to support them on their last tour.

Casiokids are Ketil Kinden Endresen (Vocals), Fredrik Øgreid Vogsborg (Vocals/Guitar), Omar Johnsen (Keyboards) and Kjetil Aabø (Bass).
