New Releases 26 March 2012

Is it Tuesday already? I’m running a day late this week – and it’s nothing to do with the clocks going forward or the sunshine that has accompanied the start of British Summer Time.

It’s getting close to festival season once again and we have had news of the line ups for many of the biggies. Who will be the smash this summer?

Some oldies on the release list this week – new singles from Paul McCartney and albums from Madonna, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. Something for everyone? If not, there are a lot of good newer acts with new music available too. Billy Vincent’s single Bottle Top is reviewed and they have an album to come soon. And Imperial Leisure’s Death To The One Trick Pony is also very good. Both of these have been reviewed right here on Glasswerk.

There will be more reviews up as the week progresses and hopefully a couple of interesting interviews too. And we will also have videos, streams and the latest music news too.

Don’t forget that our Primus competition runs until Thursday – enter for the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets for their show at the Royal Albert Hall on 4 April, Should be a great night.

Enjoy the sun while we have it!
