If dancefloor-filling power pop sung by gorgeous girls is your thing, then look no further than Britain ’s hottest new band Vanquish. Already tipped by the pop press, 2012 will be the year that Bee, Holly, Lizzy and Rianna take over the charts.
Having spent the last year recording their debut album – working with Ivor Novello award winners Rob Davis (Kylie, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and Jorgen Elofsson (Britney, J-Lo, Kelly Clarkson), and Nick Dresti (AKA Lady Gaga’s ‘Space Cowboy’) – and performing to huge audiences including a starring role at Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model Live, Vanquish are now looking forward to the release of their first single ‘The Harder You Love’. A thrillingly propulsive pop-dance track with a defiant attitude ‘The Harder You Love’ sets the tone for their album and promises to be a highlight of their thrilling live shows.
And now Vanquish are excited to announce that they will be supporting Westlife on the band’s twenty nine date arena tour. On hearing that Westlife had chosen Vanquish to support them the girls were, understandably, delighted!
Lizzy: 'To be supporting Westlife on their final UK Arena tour is an amazing feeling! We feel honoured to be part of this. We are going to bring fun, excitement and some powerful Vanquish pop songs to the tour. Can’t wait to get on stage!! '
Bee: 'It's a dream come true to be going on an arena tour supporting a band as successful as Westlife. They've made a huge impact on the pop world and have had such a long career, it's a real privilege to be touring with them and we're all massively excited to hit the road!'
Holly: 'I just can't believe it… It still hasn't sunk in! To be touring the UK with my best friends as Vanquish, and supporting one of the biggest boy bands of all time is completely mind-blowing… It's something I've only ever dreamed of. I feel like the luckiest girl alive!'
Rianna: 'I can't express how grateful and appreciative we are to be supporting Westlife on their final tour. I have grown up listening to Westlife and watched them bosh out hit after hit. To be sharing this with them is incredible. We are four extremely lucky ladies. I can't wait..'
