Four gorgeous, motivated girls who sing powerful, catchy songs with an ultra-modern sheen, Vanquish are a fantastic new girl band intent on getting inside your head and staying there. Their debut single is ‘The Harder You Love’, a thrillingly propulsive pop-dance track with a defiant attitude.

Holly, Bee, Lizzie and Rianna have spent the last year touring and performing to huge audiences and discovering themselves as a band, and ‘The Harder You Love’ is the first taste of their exciting sound. Written with Ivor Novello Award winner Jorgen Elofsson – who has also created songs for Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Westlife, Will Young and Leona Lewis, and is responsible for 8 UK number 1 records – it’s a fantastic track destined to fill the musical void left by Girls Aloud.

The girls have already performed at the fabulous Britain & Ireland ’s Next Top Model Live!, at the British Grand Prix and played to 15,000 people in Sheffield alongside Tinchy Stryder and Matt Cardle. They’re working with some of the best songwriters in the pop world – people like Ivor Novello award winner Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and Wayne Hector (Pussycat Dolls, Cheryl Cole, One Direction).

Vanquish make instantly cool, energetic pop music and ‘The Harder You Love’ is guaranteed to get you dancing right from the first beat to the last breath.

Meet the girls:

Holly, from Surrey, is 23, has a background in dance, and a degree in English behind her. She explains the name Vanquish as reflecting the band in being “individual, strong and ready to conquer the world!”

Lizzy, hailing from South East London, is 24 and has been working hard in this industry for years since graduating Italia Conti Academy. Seeing herself as the mum of the group, she describes their sound as simply “pure, catchy pop tunes”

Bee from Glasgow is 23. The laid back one of the group, she says the best thing about being in Vanquish is “making and performing music with such great friends, for people to enjoy”

Rianna from Essex is 22. Inspired by everyone from Muse to Michael Jackson, she is always up for dancing to “anything. Absolutely anything”. With a penchant for 80s music, she describes being on stage as “incredible. The buzz is amazing, I couldn’t get the adrenaline rush from anything else”
