So who watched the Brit awards last week? Most of the winners were pretty predictable, although the “Adele’s finger” story rather overshadowed everything else. What did you think of Blur? They were never one of my favourite bands and for me Phil Daniels was the best thing about their performance!
We’re nearly at the end of February already. The year is flying by and the new releases keep coming. On the albums front this week we have everything from The Ting Tings to Meat Loaf – yes the big man is still making music.
Singles out this week include the excellent new one from We Are Augustines, of which a review will be posted shortly. Also on the list are former Open Mic UK winner Birdy and The Black Keys.
