Voted for by fans, the Paisley born singer-songwriter has scooped Headliner of the Year at the UK Festival Awards, for his raved about performance at Latitude.
He fought off the rain and hit all the high notes in one of those unforgettable hands-in-the-air moments, beating Beyoncé, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys Prince, U2 and Coldplay to the top spot.
Paolo said, “Get in! Thanks for everyone who watched in the rain, glad you stayed – this one's for you guys”.
Paolo Nutini has in the past played Glastonbury, T in the Park and Isle of Wight and is now a staple on the festival circuit, proving that he feels just at home in a muddy field as he does playing a prestigious venue like the Royal Albert Hall.
He is currently working on a new album, which is due out next year.
