Bombay Bicycle Club confirmed to support Primal Scream at Edinburgh's Hogmanay Concert In The Gardens

London indie and folk band Bombay Bicycle Club are confirmed to support Primal Scream at the Concert in the Gardens, the music and fireworks spectacular, seen as one of the greatest celebrations of New Year in the world.

Fresh from a European Tour Bombay Bicycle Club, and a 21st century feat of releasing in a little over three years, three LPs, culminating in last summer's top ten album, Flaws (nominated for an Ivor Novello Award); the quartet open a new and beguiling chapter with, A Different Kind of
Fix, one that cements their place at the very forefront of British bands in 2011.

Bombay Bicycle Club will be supporting Primal Scream who will be performing their seminal 1991 album Screamadelica in its entirety, for the last time as part of its 20th anniversary year.

Tickets to bring in the bells with Primal Scream and Bombay Bicycle Club at Concert in the Gardens are on sale now. Tickets for the enclosure have already SOLD OUT however Gardens tickets are still available.

Tickets for the city's world famous Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party featuring a feast of headline artists, live music stages, giant screens and the spectacular Midnight Fireworks are now on-sale with the final line up being announced shortly. Tickets for the music and fireworks spectacular Concert in the Gardens and traditional outdoor ceilidh event The Keilidh are also on-sale. Enquiries are already flooding in from people across Scotland, the UK and overseas keen to get their hands on one of the hottest New Year tickets in the world.

Revellers are advised to plan early for this year‟s festivities to avoid disappointment. The Edinburgh‟s Hogmanay Street Party and Concert in the Gardens form part of the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay festival programme which runs from Friday 30 December 2011 until Sunday 1 January 2012. This year‟s festival also includes the iconic Midnight Fireworks, the Torchlight Procession and The Loony Dook and promises to end the year in style with a heady mix of music, theatre and dance throughout the city centre, both
indoors and out and all set against the magnificent backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
