Ladytron Announce New Album Details

Ladytron have announced that they are to release new album Gravity The Seducer on September 12th through Nettwerk.

The album is the follow up to 2008's Velocifero, and gains its title from track “90 Degrees” that appears on the release.

It's their first release since their Best Of Ladytron: 00-10 compilation album released in March that celebrated a decade's worth of fantastic electronic pop.

Ladytron recorded the album in Kent's countryside, with co-producer Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Editors) at the helm.

Daniel Hunt of the group comments on the forthcoming release: “’Gravity the Seducer’ is more of a jump than the last album was, more ethereal & melodic, a touch more abstract in places than we've gone before, baroque ‘n' roll. It was a pleasure to make, took us right through last summer. It's our best record in my opinion.”
